The prices however are retarded for what you get.
I got the summer roll things that were almost entirely lettuce for 7.50. I know it's soho, but there is seriously better and cheaper food less than 3 blocks away.

"THE ELECTION RESULTS ARE HAPPENING IN THE OTHER ROOM PEOPLE! LET'S MOVE THIS PARTY OVER!"
Props to all the Yelp staff for keeping their shit together. If only I could've gotten a mini slider! But alas I was in the wrong end of the room. Serves me right for setting up shop in the corner. I'll be back pronto.

Any back room with tinsel is a friend of mine.
The drinks are reasonable and the bar tenders are lovely. Plus they got a foosball table.
Any bar with a foosball table...
You get the idea.
Only draw back is this bar is pretty far from civilization. As an N rider it's a hike, but you east siders and Brooklynites who take the F - it's a breeze.

BRGR
Category: Burgers
Neighborhood: Manhattan/Fashion District
Perhaps it's my jaded post 2005 mindset, but the inventiveness of Brgr's identity is about all that I really like about this Chelsea burgery... That and the beer.
Let's get down to brass tacks shall we? Hows the burger? Sloppy. I find brgr's burgers a bit greasy and a bit soggy. wrapped in their individual wrappers like blankets on a cold camping trip, these burgers, like a city boy in a forrest, have a tendency to fall apart when out of their encasings. They also drip a liquid which turns all it touches transparent.
In the industry we call that 'fat juice'
So on a scale of 1-5 I give the burger a 3. Unfortunately, the menu doesn't stop there.
I'm not sure how exactly you screw up french fries and onion rings, but Brgr makes an admirable attempt. Everything is cut so small it's impossible to dip without grabbing a handful. This I do not like because it's messy and makes me feel fat
"NEED MORE FRIES IN MOUTH! ME GRAB HANDFULS!"
Brgr fails to deliver a good burger in very new exciting ways. If it weren't so close to so many city attractions I would never go there, but as it is - I will curse their burger all the way to their bank.

Angelika Film Center & Cafe
Categories: Cinema, Sandwiches, Coffee & Tea
Neighborhood: Manhattan/SoHo
Let's get serious here. Movies are expensive right? Bag of popcorn $5. We all know the deal and we put up with it because it's a treat, we love a good treat. Cafe's are expensive right? Cup of coffee $2.10? for tasty brown water. We all know the deal and we put up with it because it's a treat, we love a good treat.
Angelika, however, has mixed these two into a great theater and an incredibly expensive and mediocre cafe. Really mediocre! I had a tinsy slice of soggy crumble cake and a medium coffee (which they said was large) all for the insane price of $8!
I tried to do the math when I got back to my table and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't figure out the crazy pricing. In the end I think it's $3.50 for mediocre coffee and 4.50 for inedible cake.
Seriously Angelika, either fix your cafe or get rid of it. I will from now on drink my coffee across the street where it costs an absurd $2.50, but at least it's a treat worth the price tag.

To add to my frustration out of 3 choices for ice cream I picked 2 were not available. To which I asked, "you guys do sell ice cream right?" They were not entirely sure.
Hey Ben, hey Jerry, let's put down the wavy gravy for a minute and fix this place.
And by "wavy gravy" I mean, of course, the marijuana.

Drinks usually follow at Grassroots (http://www.yelp.com/bi...) after.
TIP: No liquor license means you should definitely bring a 6 pack and make friends, just be sure to take you trash with you when you leave. Nothing makes a group of performers more unhappy than to clean up.

Stromboli Pizzeria

So I'll leave you with this anecdote. I visit this pizzeria after the gym and I eat a lot - basically undoing all the heavy lifting, tread milling, and jump roping I have just done. I do it every week. I don't regret a single slice.
